Quality is a documented process, not a claim

Our integrated management system covers quality, environment and occupational health and safety, supported by in-house testing and full batch traceability.

Philosophy

Specify, control, verify, record

A cable or conductor is judged years after it leaves the plant. We therefore treat documentation as part of the product: process parameters, test values and material records are retained so that any despatch can be reconstructed and explained.

Process

One continuous quality process

Raw material, manufacturing, testing, inspection, traceability and dispatch operate as a single connected sequence.

  1. Step 01

    Raw material

    Aluminium, copper, compounds and armouring material verified against specification on receipt.

  2. Step 02

    Manufacturing

    Process parameters monitored at drawing, stranding, extrusion and armouring stages.

  3. Step 03

    Testing

    Electrical, mechanical and dimensional tests carried out on every length as required.

  4. Step 04

    Inspection

    Sample-based acceptance tests performed with customer or third-party witness where required.

  5. Step 05

    Traceability

    Batch records link raw material, process data and test results to the despatched drum.

  6. Step 06

    Dispatch

    Length verification, sealing, marking and documentation completed before despatch.

Certification library

Certificates and standards, as evidence not a wall of logos

Certificates are published with number, issuing authority and validity. Expired certificates are withdrawn from public view.
